Graphic upgrade

Postby [RS] SniperGecko » Thu Oct 27, 2011 6:05 pm

Ok i currently run a HD 5770 OC'd @ at GPU 925Mhz Mem clock 1265Mhz.

am thinking of upgrading to either a Radeon 6970 or a Nvidia GTX 570.

I have at max £300 to splash out.. what can you guys recommend?

My system as it stands

Intel Core i7 920 D0 2.66GHz Socket 1366 8MB Cache
Asus P6T SE iX58 Socket 1366 8 Channel Audio ATX
Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (PVT36G1600ELK)
Corsair 850W HX Modular PSU
Corsair Hydro H50-1 High-Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

can i get better for my cash that will run BF3 - MW3 really well?

Not looking to upgrade other components but are there any things i should be considering?
This is all to get a good FPS and level of detail in BF3

will be running my monitor in 1600X1200 resolution

Not sure when, buts that's what I would do, you have good stuff.
ATI 7 & OC that CPU would be the way forward.
I know there are peeps in the clan that have that CPU and OC'ed it well even on air. Tefty etc
